First chapter in Destiny 2’s online comic now live
Destiny: Fall of Osiris acts as an origin story for Ikora and its titular ex-vanguard, and it's pretty good.
Destiny: Fall of Osiris, a free online comic that acts as an origin story for the former Vanguard, is now live.
Fall of Osiris was written by Ryan North, best known for webcomic classic Dinosaur Comics and, more recently, his work on Marvel’s The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl.
Fall of Osiris shows how the mentorship between Osiris and Ikora is challenged by Osiris’ “heretical” beliefs about the Traveler, as well as tracking the origins of the Cult of Osiris and, ultimately, Osiris’ exile as declared by the Speaker.
The best part is that, unlike some of Destiny 2‘s previously available content, you don’t need to own The Curse of Osiris to access it.
